Australian Wings Academy
This video segment explores how an organisation can capitalise on environmental opportunities to achieve their business goals and objectives. From 1980 to June 2005, the Australian Wings Academy traded as The Gold Coast Aviation Centre, located at the Gold Coast Airport. The business was comprised of a flying school, charter services and flight operations. Pilot training for private and recreational needs was the main business focus. After identifying a potential worldwide shortage of commercial pilots, the business changed its focus after July 2005, and the Australian Wings Academy was born. The AWA established a diploma program and focused on commercial outcomes for their graduate pilots.
