The Google life
Google's Silicon Valley offices boast a myriad of unconventional benefits: free rides to work via a luxury bus complete with wireless access; free gym, pool, billiards, volleyball, and roller hockey games in the parking lot; free laundry facilities (with detergent); subsidised day care; and free meals at any of its 19 cafes. But not only are the many perks of working at Google valuable to its employees, they also serve the company. The goal is to create an environment that is efficient for workers so that they can enjoy their personal lives, while being productive at work. Google's philosophy is if you let intelligent people have their freedom, they will produce great results.
