JB Hi-Fi advertises that it has the 'cheapest prices, always'. In the face of the global economic crisis, the retailer has outperformed others in the sector, with strong profit growth. CEO Richard Uechtritz has received a generous remuneration package as a result of this strong performance. However, some commentators have questioned the operation of JB Hi-Fi's Remuneration Committee.
